  • Water Parameters:

    • pH: 7.0–8.0 (slightly alkaline preferred).
    • Hardness: Moderate to hard (8–12 dGH).
  • Filtration: Gentle flow – Sponge Filter (e.g., Hikari Bacto-Surge) to protect fry.
  • Habitat: Planted tanks with Java Moss, Hornwort, or Guppy Grass for fry cover.

Diet

  • Staple: Fluval Bug Bites Tropical Formula (protein-rich for color enhancement).
  • Treats: Hikari Fancy Guppy Pellets, Baby Brine Shrimp (live/frozen).
  • Feeding: Small portions 2–3x daily; avoid overfeeding.

Compatibility
